Overheating

So we went down to the Fullerton Arboretum Monster Tomato and Pepper sale. We were planning on doing a few other things after as well, that didn’t exactly happen. Although we did make it to the sale, and got some varieties we don’t have, that’s all that happened Saturday. At least all that we had wanted to happen. To make a long weekend short, we blew a head gasket and have water in the engine of the truck. Needless to say, big bill and no truck for almost a week. Admittedly, the truck has been problem free for 9 years and this is the first repair job we have done on it other than regular maintenance. To have gotten 200K miles on a Ford with no major repairs is pretty impressive.

Tomatoes: Anana’s Noir, Black Sea Man, Ciliegia cherry, Isis Candy, Italian Market Wonder, Momotaro, Red Lightening, Rosalita, Sprite, and Vintage Wine.
